The Migrant Ecologies Project

Lucy Davis

The Migrant Ecologies Project is brainchild of Lucy Davis, prompted by the history of secondhand wood and how it traced the histories of millions of immigrants across Southeast Asia. We worked together with Lucy to bring some of her installations to life – specifically, “When you get closer to the heart, you may find cracks…” Stories of Wood which you can read more about here, and Two Guides To The Interior: Specimens from the Raffles Museum Collection, which you can view here.
